Overview

VitaSense is a health and fitness app. We design the app to keep health data under the user's control and to request permissions clearly before accessing Apple Health or Apple Watch data.

Data We May Collect

  • Account data such as name, email address, and user ID when signing in.
  • Health and fitness data allowed by the user through Apple Health, such as heart rate, steps, walking data, sleep, HRV, respiratory rate, and related activity signals.
  • Purchase status for Premium access.
  • Product interaction, crash, performance, and diagnostic data to improve reliability.
  • Advertising data for free users if ads are enabled.

How We Use Data

We use data for app functionality, authentication, personalization, analytics, premium access, troubleshooting, and improving the app. Health and fitness data is used to show wellness insights and is not used for third-party advertising.

Apple Health

VitaSense reads Apple Health data only after the user grants permission. Users can change or revoke Health permissions anytime in iOS Settings or the Health app.

Advertising and Premium

Free users may see ads. Premium users get an ad-free experience. We do not use health data for tracking or targeted advertising.
